Mold is a town in Flintshire, Wales and has a population of 10,058. The town lies on the River Alyn.

Sites of interest include Mold Castle, which was constructed during the eleventh-century. St Mary's Church is Grade I listed and was built during the fifteenth-century. Loggerheads Country Park is located near Mold and holds a visitor centre, a Grade II* listed corn mill, a gorge and woodland walks. Mold Library and Museum is located in the town. Mold hosts several events every year, including Mold Food & Drink Festival.

There are two secondary schools in Mold: Ysgol Maes Garmon and Alun School, which has an enrolment of 1,800 pupils. Mold also has a primary school.

There is no railway station in Mold; the nearest railway station is Buckley railway station, which offers services to destinations including Bidston and Wrexham. There are bus services in operation in the town.
