Evesham Abbey was founded during the eighth-century. It was demolished during the Dissolution of the Monasteries, although the bell tower survives today. Middle Littleton Tythe Barn is a Grade I listed twelfth- or thirteenth-century barn near Evesham, and was originally built for Evesham Abbey.
