Amlwch is a town in Gwynedd, Wales and has a population of 3,789. It is the northernmost town in Wales and lies on the north coast of the Isle of Anglesey.
Sites of interest include Parys Mountain, which has an elevation of 147 metres. St Eleth's Church was constructed in 1800 and is Grade II* listed. Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Winefride is a Roman Catholic church in the town, and was built during the 1930s. It is also Grade II* listed.
There are facilities in Amlwch including a primary school and a secondary school, Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones. The town has facilities for sports including football, while the leisure centre has a swimming pool, squash courts and a sports centre. Amlwch Town F.C. play their home games at Lôn Bach.
There is no railway station in Amlwch.
