Liverpool is a city in Merseyside, with a population of 491,500. The current average sale price is £170,476.

Liverpool is a popular tourist destination due to its status as the home of the Beatles and other bands from the Merseybeat era. Landmarks include Liverpool Town Hall, which is Grade I listed and was constructed in 1754. Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Britain, and was built during the twentieth-century. It is a Grade I listed building. Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City is a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site and includes the Pier Head, Albert Dock and William Brown Street. St George's Hall is Grade I listed and is a Neoclassical building constructed between 1841 and 1854.

Liverpool has many historic attractions, including Speke Hall, a Grade I listed Tudor manor house built during the sixteenth-century. Bluecoat Chambers is the oldest surviving building in central Liverpool, and was constructed in 1716-7. Cultural attractions in the city include Liverpool ONE, a shopping and leisure complex with 169 stores and services. It is the largest open air shopping centre in the United Kingdom. Liverpool is internationally known for music. The M&S Bank Arena hosts live music and has a capacity of 11,000. Liverpool Empire Theatre opened in 1925 and has the largest two-tier auditorium in the United Kingdom. It has a seating capacity of 2,348. Philharmonic Hall is a concert hall that was built in 1939.

The city has a number of parks, including two Grade I and five Grade II* listed parks. Liverpool has facilities for sports including football, boxing, golf, horse racing and cricket. Liverpool F.C. was founded in 1892 and play their home games at Anfield, which has a capacity of 53,394. Everton F.C. were formed in 1878 and play their home games at Goodison Park, which has a capacity of 39,221.

Liverpool has numerous primary and secondary schools, including The Liverpool Blue Coat School. Further education colleges in the city include The City of Liverpool College. The city has three universities: the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University.

Liverpool Lime Street railway station opened in 1836 and offers services to destinations including Manchester, Norwich, Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle, York, Leeds, Birmingham, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Blackpool and Crewe. There are bus services in operation in the city. The Mersey Ferry operates on the River Mersey between Liverpool and Birkenhead/Wallasey. Liverpool John Lennon Airport provides flights to countries such as Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, the Canary Islands, Czech Republic, Poland and Denmark.
