Guisborough is a market town in North Yorkshire, with a population of 17,777.

Guisborough was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. Landmarks include the ruins of Gisborough Priory, which was founded in 1119 and is now in the care of English Heritage. St Nicholas' Church has features dating from the fifteenth-century. Gisborough Hall is a Grade II listed nineteenth-century mansion house. It now operates as a hotel.

The town has facilities for sports including football, cricket and rugby. Guisborough Town F.C. play their home games at King George V Ground. Guisborough has several primary and secondary schools, including Laurence Jackson School. Prior Pursglove and Stockton Sixth Form College provides a range of courses.

There is no railway station in Guisborough.
