Wimborne Minster, also known as Wimborne, is a market town in Dorset. It has a population of 15,552 and a current average sale price of £384,889. The town lies 5 miles north of Poole.

Attractions include Wimborne Minster, which is the town's parish church and was founded in circa 705. It is a Grade I listed building and houses the tomb of King Ethelred, brother of Alfred the Great. The Minster is home to Wimborne Minster astronomical clock, which was made during the fourteenth-century and is one of the oldest working clocks in Europe. The Tivoli Theatre was built in 1936 as a cinema and theatre. It has a range of Art Deco features. The Priest's House Museum is housed in a Grade II* listed building that dates from the sixteenth- or seventeenth-century. Wimborne Model Town is located on the edge of the town and is one of England's largest and most established model towns. It depicts Wimborne during the 1950s.

Events that take place in the town include Wimborne Minster Folk Festival, which was founded in 1980 and is internationally recognised for its traditional English folk music and dance.

Wimborne has facilities for sports, such as football, rugby and cricket. Wimborne Town F.C. play their home games at The Cuthbury, which has a capacity of 3,250.

There are a number of schools in the area, including Queen Elizabeth's School, which was founded by Lady Margaret Beaufort in 1497. Dumpton School is an independent day school.
