Baldock is a market town in Hertfordshire and has a population of 9,900. It is situated 14 miles north of Hertford and 15 miles southeast of Bedford. The current average sale price in Baldock is £576,667.

Baldock was founded as a market town in the 1140s by the Knights Templar. The town later became a centre for malting and The Wynn almshouses in the High Street were founded in 1621.

Sites of interest include the town's museum, Baldock Town Hall and the Church of St Mary the Virgin, which dates to the fourteenth-century and is Grade I listed. Several annual events take place in the town, including the Baldock Festival, Balstock and Baldock Charter Fair, which dates to 1199.
