Barry is a town in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales, and has a population of 51,502. It is located 9 miles from Cardiff and has a current average sale price of £110,475. Barry is the third-largest town in Wales. It is possible that Barry derives its name after Saint Baruc. The BBC sitcom "Gavin & Stacey" was filmed in Barry and Barry Island.

Barry is a seaside resort; Barry Island Pleasure Park is an amusement park with shops, restaurants and bars. Barry Castle dates to the Middle Ages and is a Grade II* listed gatehouse. Whitehouse Cottage dates to the sixteenth-century. Porthkerry Park is a large public country park.

Barry has four railway stations: Barry, Barry Docks, Barry Island and Cadoxton. Barry railway station offers services to destinations including Cardiff, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare. There are bus services in Barry. The town is also situated 3 miles east of Cardiff International Airport.
