Stanmore is a town in the London Borough of Harrow, with a population of 23,700. The current average sale price is £954,500.

Stanmore was recorded in the Domesday Book. Landmarks include St John the Evangelist's Church, which is a Grade II* listed building and has features dating from 1632. The present church was constructed during the nineteenth-century. Bentley Priory is a stately home and deer park built during the eighteenth- and nineteenth-centuries. Queen Adelaide, widow of William IV, spent her final years at the priory and died there in 1849.

The town has facilities such as shops, cafes, pubs and supermarkets. There are playing fields on which football is played. Stanmore Cricket Club celebrated 150 years in 2003. Schools in the area include Park High School, which provides education for pupils aged 11 to 18.

Stanmore has a London Underground station that is served by the Jubilee line. There are bus services in operation in the town to locations such as Edgware, Holborn and Brent Cross.
