Buckingham is a town in Buckinghamshire, with a population of 12,043. The current average sale price is £448,929. It lies close to the borders with Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

Buckingham was mentioned in the Domesday Book. Sites of interest include the church of St Peter and St Paul, which is Grade I listed and was constructed during the eighteenth-century. Buckingham Chantry Chapel is a Grade II* listed building, dating from the fifteenth-century. It is the oldest building in Buckingham. Buckingham Old Gaol was erected in 1748 and is now a museum, shop and tourist information centre.

The town has facilities for sports such as football, rugby, cricket and hockey. Buckingham Athletic F.C. play their home games at Stratford Fields. The Swan Leisure Centre has an indoor swimming pool, a climbing wall and squash courts.

Buckingham has a number of schools, including the Royal Latin School and The Buckingham School. The University of Buckingham is a private university with 2,520 students.

There is no railway station in Buckingham. There are local bus services in operation in the town to locations such as Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bicester, Oxford, Cambridge and Bedford.
