Sites of interest include Bridgnorth Castle, which was founded in 1101 and is today a ruin. The Church of St. Mary Magdalene has features dating from the thirteenth-century, although the current building was constructed between 1792 and 1795. St Leonard's Church is a redundant Grade II* listed Anglican church in the town, and dates from the Middle Ages, although it was later rebuilt and restored. Dudmaston Hall is a seventeenth-century country house near the village of Quatt, south of Bridgnorth. Daniels Mill lies near the town, and has the largest cast iron waterwheel in England.
