Bangor is the oldest city in Wales and is one of the United Kingdom's smallest cities. Landmarks in the city include Bangor Cathedral, which is a Grade I listed building and was founded during the sixth-century. Garth Pier is a Grade II listed structure in the city, and is the second-longest pier in Wales. It has a total length of 460 metres.
