Bracknell is a town in Berkshire, with a population of 83,491. It is situated 11 miles east of the county town of Reading.

The town was designated a New Town in 1949. Sites of interest in Bracknell include Easthampstead Park, a Victorian mansion. St Michael and St Mary Magdalene's Church was rebuilt during the 1860s. Holy Trinity Church was constructed in 1851. South Hill Park is an English country house set in 24 acres of grounds; it now houses an arts centre.

The town has facilities for sports such as football, ice hockey, rugby, hockey, cricket, golf and tennis. Bracknell Town F.C. play their home games at Larges Lane, which has a capacity of 2,500.

Bracknell has a number of schools, including The Brakenhale School, Easthampstead Park School, Garth Hill College and Ranelagh School. Bracknell and Wokingham College is a further education college in the town. Nearby universities include the University of Reading and Royal Holloway, University of London.

Bracknell has two railway stations: Bracknell and Martins Heron. Bracknell railway station offers services to destinations including London, Reading and Staines. There are local bus services in operation in the town to locations such as Crowthorne, Slough, Camberley, Windsor and Wokingham.
