Alcester is a market town in Warwickshire. It has a population of 6,273 and a current average sale price of £286,211. The town is situated 8 miles west of Stratford-upon-Avon and is close to the Worcestershire border.

There are several historic buildings in Alcester, including The Old Malthouse, which dates from around 1500. Coughton Court is a Grade I listed sixteenth-century country house near the town, and is now in the care of the National Trust. Ragley Hall lies south of Alcester, and is the ancestral seat of the Marquess of Hertford.
